Celebrate Dairy Festival Days in Canton, NY

Friday, June 6th - Saturday, June 7th, 2025

The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will host the 61st Annual Dairy Festival Days, also known as Dairy Princess Weekend, in Canton, NY on Friday, June 6th, and Saturday, June 7th. This weekend-long event will be an opportunity for everyone in the community to have some fun and support local businesses and vendors while celebrating National Dairy Month!

FRIDAY, JUNE 6

VENDORS IN THE PARK

5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Stroll around the park to see vendors, food trucks, and displays! Check out the full list of this year's vendors here.

 

BIG WHEEL RACES

5:30 PM Registration

For ages 4, 5, and 6 years old. The top winner of each age group will receive a prize of a brand new Big Wheel to take home! Each 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner will receive a medal.

 

BLOCK DANCE WITH LIVE MUSIC

7:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Block Dance with a performance by a local band that will be announced soon. Enjoy an evening of music and dancing right on Park Street in Canton! Be sure to bring your own chair and check out our local restaurants and food trucks.

SATURDAY, JUNE 7

FUN RUN 1-MILE/5K

8:30 AM Registration

Join us in kicking off Saturday's festivities at the Dairy Festival Fun Run & 5K! This year's theme is "Red, White and Moo!" Registration is FREE! The 1-mile Fun Run starts at 9:00 AM, and the 5K starts at 9:15 AM. Please note all children 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their participation.

Coordinated by the St. Lawrence County Dairy Promotion Council and the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.

 

VENDORS IN THE PARK

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Stroll around the park to see vendors, food trucks, and displays. Display booths will have activities for all ages to enjoy! Check out the full list of this year's vendors here.

 

PETTING ZOO & PONY RIDES

11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

From ponies to alpacas, and llamas to goats, K-Stone Acreage & Rescue has it all. The kids won't want to leave! Pony rides and animal food will be available for purchase.

COMMUNITY PARADE

1:00 PM

The parade will take its’ traditional route downtown, on Saturday afternoon. Please join us in cheering on this year’s Dairy Princess and the various floats, cars, and marching participants. Be on the lookout for floats using this year's theme, "Red, White and Moo!"

DUCK PLUCK 50/50 RAFFLE

After the Parade

The Duck Pluck (50/50 Raffle) winner will be drawn in the park following the parade. Purchase your tickets now! Tickets are 1 for $2 and 3 for $5 and can be purchased at any of the following locations:
