The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, Inc. plays a pivotal role in strengthening and maintaining the economic health of St. Lawrence County. Our team is dedicated to building a strong and vibrant future for the generations to come.
Our Mission
The mission of the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is to cultivate, develop and support Chamber members and other businesses by creating a vibrant business climate that encourages growth and enhances the unique quality of life in St. Lawrence County.
In addition, the Chamber provides many cost saving services to more than 500 members through membership discounts. As the designated Tourism Promotion Agent for St. Lawrence County, the Chamber also assists local organizers of events and projects with reduced advertising costs through cooperative advertising under the New York State Matching Funds Program.
We are the St. Lawrence County Tourism Promotion Agent
The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is the designated Tourism Promotion Agent for St. Lawrence County. In this role, our dedicated tourism team works closely with I Love New York and the New York State Matching Funds Program, along with engaging in active partnership with the Adirondack Regional Tourism Council and the Thousand Islands International Tourism Council in order to showcase St. Lawrence County to visitors in New York State and surrounding US states as well as throughout bordering areas of Canada.
Marketing and Promotion in the USA and Canada
Through a variety strategic marketing efforts, including print and digital marketing campaigns, event hosting, organizing, and partnerships, national trade show attendance, state and regional tourism conference attendance and more, we promote the County’s many natural resources, museums and attractions, sporting and recreational opportunities, and the many other aspects that contribute to the magical quality of life that is so unique to our county.
