Start your outdoor adventure off strong! This remote hiking route connects more than ten distinct trails in its 50-mile circumnavigation of Cranberry Lake.
Access: Get primary access to these trails from the hamlet of Wanakena (Town of Fine) or the hamlet of Cranberry Lake (Town of Clifton).

Hike Cat Mountain
Easily accessible by a series of trails beginning with the Dead Creek Trail—Cat Mountain is a challenging hike offering spectacular rewards!
Access: A small parking by Dead Creek Trailhead is located on the side of South Shore Road in Wanakena, 0.5 miles past the bridge over the Oswegatchie River.

Camp at Higley Flow State Park
This park comes with a beach, a fully accessible picnic area with pavilions, and a nature trail. Handicapped-accessible campsites are accessed by blacktop driveways. Take comfort in showers and 24-hour security!
