Three Nations Bridge / Seaway International Bridge

The Seaway International Bridge in Massena is a popular access point for St. Lawrence County visitors, including access by automobiles, cyclists and pedestrians. The Seaway International Bridge links Cornwall, Ontario, Akwesasne, and Massena and was renamed the Three Nations Bridge Crossing in recognition of the 3 nations it connects, including Canada, Akwasasne, and the U.S.A. Vehicle toll costs can be paid in either Canadian or US dollars and usually between $3.00 and $4.00, though pedestrians and cyclists can enjoy free entry.

Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge

Entering from Canada via Ogdensburg

The Ogdensburg–Prescott International Bridge is a popular and convenient entry point for Canadian or travelling visitors to St. Lawrence County. The bridge itself connects Ogdensburg, New York in the United States to Johnstown, Ontario in Canada.

Though access is limited to vehicles only with no foot traffic, more often than not, wait times at this entry point are nearly non-existent making it a quick trip over the 1.5-mile bridge. The toll cost is generally around $3.25 USD when entering from Canada.

From Ottawa:

Off of the ON-417, take ON-416 South for approximately 71km to Exit 1 toward ON-401/ON-16. Continue onto ON-16 for about 1.5km, then turn right (signs for State Highway 37/Bridge to U.S.A). Continue on to Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge where you enter St. Lawrence County in Ogdensburg, NY.
