How Can You Help?
Chamber Ambassadors are volunteers from the community that offer support for the Chamber in any of the following ways:
Act as a “Goodwill Arm” for the Chamber
- Speak positively about the Chamber throughout the community
- Generally promote Chamber events and programs via social media and word of mouth, including acting as public relations liaisons at networking/after hours events
- Communicate with Chamber Leadership and Community Coordinators about any pertinent observations regarding the needs of the community and its businesses
Volunteer to Complete Helpful Tasks and Activities
- Help distribute collateral and support our marketing and promotional efforts by hanging up fliers and posters and distributing other print materials throughout the county
- Attend/assist at groundbreaking ceremonies like grand openings and ribbon cutting ceremonies to help increase visibility of our support for local businesses
- Sign up to volunteer at special events to help us with things like the admissions table, vendor assistance, raffle ticket sales, and more
Provide Business Development and Support in Area of Interest or Expertise
- Present in a Lunch & Learn webinar
- Meet with businesses to discuss their challenges and needs
- Serve as a Welcome Committee to new businesses in the community
Support the Chamber on Social Media
- Share photos of your community with special consideration to opening/closing businesses, exciting events, points of interest and more
- Like / Share Chamber page posts to help spread the word about what is happening in the community
- Comment on chamber page posts quickly to build momentum and increase visibility
Help Enhance Our Membership Service Efforts
- Engage with prospective member businesses and other non-members to support membership recruitment
- Visit member businesses to keep them updated and informed on relevant Chamber initiatives and projects throughout the year
- Assist with delivery of membership benefits as needed to support membership retention
