Kayak the St. Lawrence River

First stop: Hosmer’s Marina. Rent a kayak and grab a yummy snack (like ice cream!)—then paddle out onto one of the longest, most picturesque rivers in North America!

Birding at Red Barn Wetland Preserve
Less than an hour away, discover the Red Barn Preserve. Operated by the Morristown Gateway Museum, the 160-acre nature preserve and wetlands is open all year and offers outstanding opportunities for blue heron sightings.

Waddington Concert Series
OUTDOOR LIVE MUSIC
Time for some tunes! Catch live music outside as the sun starts to set over the water. Free concerts on Friday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm (sometimes longer.) Relax and enjoy the show.

Pitch your tent at a wooded or open campsite near the swimming beach on Lake St. Lawrence. If you make a reservation within 3 days of your arrival, you can book a 1-night stay online or through the RA Call Center (1-800-456-2267). Applies to campsites only.

Bigtime Fishing
You don’t have to be a pro to fish like one. The Bassmaster Elite Series takes place in August in Waddington, NY—but you can cast a line anytime. Get up early and catch a big one!
Ride the Iroquois Dam Horse Trail

Yellow Barn Concert Series
LIVE OUTDOOR MUSIC
A little over an hour away, The Iva Smith Memorial Gallery of Fine Art welcomes you to their annual outdoor summer concert series! Check out the various dates held June - September. Tickets are $10 at the door. Children 12 and younger get in free.
