Add Your Events to Our Calendar

St. Lawrence County Public Events can be uploaded on our online event calendar for free. Please note that all submissions are reviewed twice a week before approving to the calendar. Here are a few tips for uploading:

Public Event Submission Instructions & Tips

Please review the instructions and tips below before submitting your event to make sure your event meets the criteria for TOURISM APPROVAL.

1. Navigate to the Submission Form

Use this link to submit your event: https://business.visitstlc.com/events/public-submission

OR, in the main menu, hover over ‘EVENTS’ in the website categories header. In the drop down select ‘Public Event Submissions’ (it will take you to this page). You can use the button at the top of the page to get to the form.

2. Fill in Your Event Details

Please assure ALL boxes are filled with information including the description, fees, website, event contact, etc.

DESCRIPTION: Please upload all events in THIRD PERSON. As the event is displayed on the STLC Chamber Website "We and Our" gets lost in translation for folks reading the page. Please assure the description includes that your business is HOSTING the event.

LOCATION & ADDRESS: Location to include the NAME OF LOCATION and the FULL PHYSICAL ADDRESS

WEBSITE LINKS: If you have several websites you would like to include, place your FEATURED WEBSITE in the website section and other websites within the description section and I will have those HYPERLINKED (registration, Facebook Event Page, etc.)

PROVIDE CONTACT INFO: Assure that the contact information includes the EVENT CONTACT WITH EMAIL and a phone number if possible

4. Submit Your Event for Approval

SUBMIT EARLY: Events are encouraged to be added to the calendar with at least two-three weeks prior to the event date. The sooner you upload your event, the better your marketing efforts will be! Submissions received months in advance will have the opportunity to potentially be included in other marketing efforts (blogs, social media shares, etc). Submitting details the week that the event occurs is discouraged.

SUBJECT TO APPROVAL: All event submissions are subject to approval. The approval period may take 3-4 business days, so plan your submission with this in mind.

INELIGIBLE EVENTS: Events taking place outside of St. Lawrence County, religious services, political events, long term exhibits (galleries/museums), events that are not open to the public, and ongoing classes for those to pre-register for.
