Eclipse Viewing Event
AT FORT DE LA PRESENTATION
Look to the skies for the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse from one of the most beautiful vantage points on the mighty St. Lawrence and Oswegatchie Rivers. Rensselaer Point in Ogdensburg, NY holds long held history and is the very ground where Fort de La Présentation was established when it was claimed as New France. Enjoy the beautiful trail and site as you watch the eclipse.

Total Eclipse Celebration
AT THE WHITE SILO
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for North Country residents and visitors of St. Lawrence County will include music, food, trivia, a customized photo booth, and more. White Silo is located on 50+ acres providing the premier location for unobstructed viewing of the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. The event will begin with music from Noon-1:30pm and a cash menu is available for lunch options.

Eclipse Fragrance Festival
POTSDAM & SURROUNDS
Witness a once in a life-time spectacle at the Eclipse Fragrance Festival hosted by Adirondack Fragrance Farm surrounding the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse in St. Lawrence County! The Adirondack Fragrance Farm is offering a unique and multi-sensory eclipse experience leading up to the 2024 Eclipse.
Experience guided leisure hikes on their 160-acre farm in the Adirondack Foothills, candle making classes at their Farm Factory, and a 3-day Vendor Fair in the Village of Potsdam featuring craft, food & wine local artisan products. The Vendor Fair will conclude on April 8th with a featured Total Solar Eclipse viewing party to experience the awe-inspiring celestial event. Every participant at any event will receive a pair of ADK Edition Solar Eclipse Viewing Glasses!
Eclipse Blackout Party
AT ELKS LODGE
Celebrate the 2024 solar eclipse with the Elks Lodge in Ogdensburg, NY with a (pre) Eclipse Black Out Party on Saturday, April 6 from 7pm-11pm. DANCE to Hot Kogan in your blackout attire to get excited for the upcoming eclipse (get creative!). Think black, white, moons, stars, or glow! Free hors d'oeuvres will be served and a chance to win their 50/50 raffle. $10.00 tickets available at the Elks Lodge in advance or at the door. Each ticket purchase will include a free pair of solar eclipse glasses to view Totality on Monday, April 8th. Cash bar.

Raquette River Pub Block Party
The Raquette River Pub in Colton, NY will have special opening hours on Monday, April 8th to celebrate the rare Total Solar Eclipse! Colton is directly in the path of Totality and the pub will be hosting a Viewing Block Party on Colton's Main Street Bridge and the surrounding area between access points of the Stone Valley Hiking Trail. The Raquette River Pub will provide FREE eclipse viewing glasses, and will have event shirts for sale.
Gardenshare Cornhole Tournament
GardenShare will host a Total Eclipse of the Cornhole Tournament at the South Colton Rink in South Colton, NY on Sunday, April 7th from 12:00pm - 6:00pm. Teams will consist of 2 players and will compete in a Double Elimination Bracket for prizes from an assortment of local businesses! There will also be a door prize raffle for a local product gift basket. Donation of shelf-stable food will support the Colton Food Pantry. Each donation is one entry towards the door prize raffle.
Pre-Eclipse Education Programming
AT NICANDRI NATURE CENTER
The Nicandri Nature Center will be hosting a series of family friendly Solar Eclipse Programs March 1st through April 7th, including presentations, crafting sessions, activities, and classes. Special Star Craft sessions will include programming with solar prints, chalk art, constellation crafts, eclipse spinners, pinhole viewers and more.

North Country Children's Museum Viewing Event
The North Country Children's Museum (NCCM) is hosting a FREE Viewing Event during the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8th from 1:00pm-3:30pm. The event will be held in Garner Park, adjacent to the museum's parking lot. Create a memorable experience with your children and enjoy family activities led by a NCCM Science Educator while you wait for the moment of Totality. Solar eclipse glasses will be provided.
SUNY Potsdam Celebration
All are invited to the SUNY Potsdam campus in St. Lawrence County, NY to view the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse once-in-a-lifetime event and participate in FREE educational and celebratory activities. The eclipse viewing will take place at the Marshall Park Bandshell with music and live narration, as well as a second designated quiet viewing area in the Academic Quad.
